The Association of American Railroads today informed Cargo Tuff that they have successfully completed the verification process for Cargo Tuff Level 5 dunnage air bags. The level 5 tests are the most challenging to pass and require a manufacturer to produce a dunnage bag to meet the highest standards. The bags undergo a significant 19 day leak test followed by a burst test.
Level 5 pneumatic dunnage bags are designed for use as lengthwise void fillers in voids of up to 18", in rail car shipments of paper rolls.
Cargo Tuff now has AAR verification on Level 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 pneumatic dunnage bags. This further substantiates Cargo Tuff's commitment to compliance and providing customers with the best load securement solutions.
